Mental Health Awareness
Mental health awareness helps people value emotional well-being as much as physical health and accept that feeling anxious, worried, sad, or “not okay” is part of being human. It also encourages speaking up, recognizing that emotional struggles are real, mental illness can affect anyone, and help is available. However, awareness is only a first step: it can help you notice when a problem is present, but it doesn’t provide the practical skills to address it. Like a fire alarm signals danger without teaching you how to respond, awareness needs education, such as Mental Health First Aid training, becomes more important.
